Canopy work, cover-crop mowing, and harvest on a dry-farmed vineyard. Late May through October.
We farm 22 acres of grapes without irrigation and graze sheep between the rows in winter. Season hands help with shoot thinning, leaf pulling, netting, and harvest.
Mornings start early in the summer heat, and we finish by 2 p.m. Harvest weeks can run long.
